Final day on the slopes!
All our skiers got a real taste of the Italian Winter weather this morning as temperatures dropped to below -7 on the slopes. However, the afternoon was more generous as the fog lifted to reveal the surrounding resort mountain tops on our final day.
It will be a relaxing evening for everyone tonight as we depart Claviere early tomorrow morning for home. An update on our arrival time back to school will be provided via text once landed in Dublin✈️
What a week for our pupils and staff! We can’t wait to welcome them all home safely, ready for their well-earned midterm break!
Day 5
Today was ‘assessment day’ for our pupils as they braved the Claviere slopes to showcase their skiing skills developed this week. It was great to see everyone fully taking part to make sure turns and stops were perfected in front of their observing instructors! This evening, pupils are hosting their very own karaoke night with song choices already decided.
Day 4
Trending TikToks and favourite singalong songs were the main discussion points for our pupils today as they continued to perfect their skiing skills! This evening, we have a ‘Disco Night’ so we look forward to our very own Dj R Devlin showing off some of his playlist favourites
Day 3
Our skiers were up bright and early this morning as all groups made their way up the chair lifts to experience the Milky Way mountain range from a height. A small selection of videos captured today can be viewed in the comments section of this post. Some pupils also enjoyed sledding after their afternoon lessons with a movie night now planned for this evening.
Day 2
The sun continued to shine today as all pupils made their way up and down the Milky Way mountains. The evening was finished off with a very competitive Quiz night where general knowledge was fairly tested! Roll on day 3!!
Day 1
All our pupils fully embraced the Italian snow today with control and turns the main objectives. The weather has been very generous with everyone enjoying the sun and fantastic scenery Claviere has to offer.
