This afternoon, we said a fond farewell to our fabulous year 14 pupils and those of our wonderful year 12 who are leaving us to explore alternative pathways. What a memorable journey it has been for these young people who will forever have a bond with our school. While they still have the most challenging few weeks ahead as they complete their terminal GCSE and A level examinations, they know that every single member of the Saint Patrick’s College Community is right behind them, praying for success in these career defining qualifications.
The ‘leavers mass’ is always an emotional yet joyous occasion and one where key members of staff, pupils and parents come together to celebrate the end of one era and the beginning of another. A massive thank you to Father McMahon for delivering such a beautiful service, Mrs Bratton and Mrs McCullough for organising the service and preparing the chapel, Mr Rafferty, his incredible choir and band of musicians, who again were outstanding and of course the pupils, parents and staff who contributed to the mass as well. It really was beautiful.
On behalf of the Governors, staff and pupils of the school, our year 12 and 14 pupils were each presented with a small gift, a reminder of their time in Saint Patrick’s College.
